Battle Chapel was formed in 2022 at Pennsylvania, USA by Tim Semerad (Guitars). He discussed the concept for this new project with Justin Denham (Guitars) and the work has begun. During the recording of the first EP "The First Sermon" Alexandria Dawson (Vocals), Steve Jacobson (Guitars), Phil Coleman (Drums) and Jake Kohl (Bass) joined the band, and the lineup was completed.

Battle Chapel is what happens when people that grew up loving the Lord of the Rings, playing fantasy video games, reading fantasy novels, and getting lost in the world of Dungeons and Dragons come together to tell the epic stories of ancient battles, legends of honor, and tales of great glory.

The band is the brainchild of Tim Semerad (Grim Grin, Isle of Dread). He discussed the concept for this new project with friend and fellow musician, Justin Denham and the project started gaining ground. Phil Coleman was recruited to beat the skins soon after. During the recording of the first single, Swords and Banners, it was determined the party was missing a key member for the journey ahead. Soon after Alex Dawson joined the ‘band’ of misfits. Guitarist Steve Jacobson (Requiem For Oblivion) joined the band shortly thereafter as well as Bassist Jake Kohl (Grim Grin, Isle Of Dread) rounding out the roster that is Battle Chapel.
