Art School Girlfriend Announce "Hard Landing - The Remix Album"

SINGLE 'OUT THERE (KLOYD REMIX)' OUT NOW

Following the success of last year’s album Soft Landing, Art School Girlfriend is working with a number of close collaborators to create a remix for each and every track from Soft Landing, which will culminate in Hard Landing - The Remix Album.

The first remix comes from Kloyd, who has created an atmospheric reimagining of 'Out There', out today Friday 2nd Feb.

Art School Girlfriend, Aka Polly Mackey, released her second album Soft Landing,  via Fiction Records on August 4, 2023. The album is self-described as a series of “small euphorias”, it is an album that finds Mackey shifting her sound towards tactile electronics whilst retaining the floating melodies of her debut.  Soft Landing follows Mackey’s 2020 debut album, Is It Light Where You Are? an album made in the wake of a tumultuous time and released during one. Soft Landing felt like Mackey’s true debut, a record of curiosity and playfulness with songs that sound like they are falling effortlessly into place.  

Soft Landing was the culmination of Art School Girlfriend’s contemporary artistic testament and the new set of remixes will present these tracks in a whole new light.  Stay tuned for more news on upcoming remixes.
