Art-rock group Big Camo to release debut single on Friday Jan. 26
London art-punk group Big Camo is set to release their debut single ‘Winning Streak’ via No Distance Records on January 26.
A fusion of Warhol-esque imagery, Roxy Music glam, and Iggy Pop sweat, Big Camo is a heady orgy of guitars, violins, silk shirts, strong eyeliner and posing.
Debut release “Winning Streak” tells you everything you need to know, and urges the good incendiaries with charred fingers to come and join the collective.
Lead singer Ted said: “You know that feeling you get when you're in your mid-30s your marriage to the mother of your child is falling apart, you've got a cocaine habit that you can't quite kick and a gambling problem that seems to take what little money you have left, and you find yourself in the early hours of Monday morning after a weekend of losses still at the table and it's finally started going right so you continue and continue and suddenly you feel like everything could be ok but then you realise that you can't let it be and you'll never walk away from the table while you're up and the inevitability of your ultimate loss starts seeping into your drug addled brain?”
The group will mark the release with a special headline show at Dream Bag Jaguar Shoes in Shoreditch, east London on Friday January 26.
