Anywhere But Now releasing debut album “Utopia” on 27/10/23

We’re four lads from the North East of England and our story goes all the way back to the mid ‘90s, but we’ll keep this short. In 1995 we formed a band called ‘Anywhere’, did a few gigs, recorded a few EPs, made a few CDs, had a little bit of record label interest – the usual story for a half decent band. The label interest didn’t turn into a record deal, then we went our separate ways.
Jobs, kids, life. The CDs went into the garage.

In 2018 our lives aligned again and we decided to jam. Three bass players and a handful of new songs later and we had enough good material to start making an EP. At some point during that process we figured we should turn it into our first album, ‘Utopia’.

And that explains the name. ‘Anywhere… But Now’. It makes no sense if you don’t know what it means. We like that. We hope you like our music. We basically write heavy pop songs.
Noise and melody. Loud and quiet. Peace and love. ABN.

‘Utopia’ will be released via all major streaming sites, 27/10/23
