Amsterdam’s Labasheeda share album “Blueprints”

Blueprints is het nieuwe album van het eigenzinnige Amsterdamse rocktrio Labasheeda.
Sinds 2004 heeft de band verscheidene albums en EP’s uitgebracht en is veelvuldig te zien geweest op podia in binnen- en buitenland. Het onorthodoxe gebruik van viool, de vaak afwijkende maatsoorten en Saskia van der Giessens kenmerkende stem geven de band een heel eigen geluid.
Op Blueprints wordt dat geluid nog eens uitgebreid door middel de toevoeging van marimba, cello en contrabas.
Blueprints wordt op 3 november door Presto Chango Records uitgebracht en is verkrijgbaar op LP, CD en als download (waarbij de vinylversie geheel analoog tot stand is gekomen, zonder digitale tussenstappen).

Blueprints is the new album by the idiosyncratic Amsterdam rock trio Labasheeda.
Since 2004, the band has released several albums and EPs and has performed extensively on stages at home and abroad. The unorthodox use of violin, the often deviating time signatures and Saskia van der Giessen’s distinctive voice give the band its unique sound.
On Blueprints, that sound is further expanded by the addition of marimba, cello and double bass.
Blueprints will be released on November 3 by Presto Chango Records and is available on LP, CD and as a download (the vinyl version is all analog).
