Alien Feli shares new single ‘The Devil Works For Me’

Bio

This Alien is a clinical psychologist by day and a mental traveler by night. Having learned the guitar on his own at the age of 13, Feli has absorbed all sorts of musical influences into his songwriting, but his classic rock influence is unmistakable. Taking inspiration from New Orleans guitarist, Snooks Eaglin, all the way up to the 90's grunge movement, Alien Feli's guitar-heavy compositions will remind you of everything and nothing at all upon first listen. If you are one to enjoy the sweet sounds of ultra-melodic riffs and solos + Brian Wilson-like harmony, this Alien is the artist for you. Feli's lyrics span over a wide variety of subjects. From his love for his guitar to the loss of innocence, you'll feel that the Alien is putting it all out there for you to see. After years of experimention, Feli has developed a strong enthusiasm for home recording and mixing techniques in order to channel his imagination into the listener's experience. "To me, my music sounds like progressive indie pop rock, if I had to put a name on it. All I know is that when I'm making a song, I'm not even thinking about the music - it is a sacred moment of self cofrontation where things get very emotional." (Music was recorded at home in Costa Rica - mixed and mastered by Chris Brown in London)

Featuring lots of tempo changes ‘The Devil Works for Me’ shifts from hazy and dreampop-esque to hard-hitting, rampant yet melodic indie pop. It’s a high impact sound and gives Alien Feli a good avenue to showcase the versatility in his vocals.
