ALBUM REVIEW: Nosebleed - Dance With the Devil

Leeds Rock n Rollers Nosebleed serve up a feast of earworms on latest album "Dance with the Devil". Every track blasts with raucous confidence.

The album is buzzing with attitude, swagger, massive hooks, epic riffs, thundering drums and raw vocals. "Dance With the Devil" is an anthem machine, the gift that doesn't stop giving! I've listened to the record 4 times straight today and it gets better with each listen! It’ll have you rocking round your living room in no time!

It's brash, bold and ballsy with a sense of chaotic urgency bursting with energetic honesty! The lads are brazen, outspoken and overrunning with Northern charm! There's na na na's at every turn, big chanty choruses, foot stomping beats and enough charisma to sink a ship! If you can't already tell, "Dance With the Devil" is a big hit with me. To be honest, I think I may be a bit addicted!

The whole record is a 30 minute highlight but a few of my standout favourites are; title track 'Dance With the Devil' kicking the album off with a signature "na na na" and frantic urgency, it's the perfect song to get you pumped up for what's to come!

'Bad Magic' is a gritty track with earthy vocals and groovy shout a long chorus. 'Live Die' booms in with thrashing drums, there's a cute little riff and blues infused rock n roll vox. 'All I Know' has a bold, 80's-esque, new romantic feel with a sinister, dark chorus. The vocals are well articulated and fascinating.

'Got a feeling' infuses blues and rockabilly with rowdy post-punk, this track has serious danceability, it's a bit of an anthem! There's some great guitars too! 'Under the Knife' is jazzy, theatrical with a hint of burlesque seductiveness. Album closer 'Make Up Your Mind' is raw, epic and intense with perfectly unpolished vocals.

I'm obsessed with "Dance With the Devil". The lads from Leeds have created a fantastic, in your face, totally authentic slice of blues infused rock n roll that you absolutely must hear!
