Album of the Year? The Mease are 'rolling on...' with a huge sound for 2024!

THIS ISN’T JUST AN ALBUM – IT’S AN EXPLOSIONOF ROCK N  ROLL, SHOEGAZE, 60S PSYCH & BRITPOP

The highly anticipated follow up to their 5-star debut album, ‘The Machine Rolls  On…’ is an explosion of classic British rock n roll, 60s psych and shoegaze and  is set for release on 26th April, including on limited CD and Vinyl. Available to pre order via Wax & Beans or through The Mease Bandcamp page

The Midlands 5-piece are one of the biggest followed new indie bands on the scene  right now and are loved for their signature catchy riffs and vocal melodies - heavily  influenced by the likes of The Coral, Ocean Colour Scene, Arctic Monkeys, Richard  Hawley and The Beatles.

On this album, The Mease take their musicianship to new levels. From Beatles esque guitar riffs & melodies, to sitar drones and harmonica reminiscent of Led  Zeppelin and special guest backing vocals from classical singers – this album is  a roller coaster of sounds!

The concept of time runs throughout, with The Mease clearly in reflection mode. From  the opening punch-to-the-face that is ‘Dig A Little Deeper’ – an up-tempo rock 'n' roll  anthem fusing Led Zeppelin's grandiosity with The Charlatans' indie charm - to the  album closer ‘The Machine Rolls On…’ (imagine a Radiohead made Champagne  Supernova!) The Mease are not holding back. “Everything you see is by design, a

perfectly orchestrated social decline…The machine rolls on…”

About the album, lead guitarist, Guy Smith, had this to say:

“We’ve really kicked into top gear with this album. The musicianship is next level!  The guitars and amps are very Beatles, Revolver and the songs are like nothing else  out there – with so many different influences from psych rock to shoegaze, Britpop to  funk. We’ve even brought in a classical singer on backing vocals for a few tunes.  There are lots of surprises, twists and turns. It’s a proper album and we can’t wait for  everyone to hear it.”
