AKLASH

HIGHLY RATED UK BLACK METALLERS REVEAL NEW VIDEO & ALBUM PLANS!

Brit Progressive black metallers, AKLASH, are braced to release their engulfing new album, Reincarnation, which arrives on Thursday 20th June. The dark lords have also just released the single and video for the album’s namesake, Reincarnation. Watch the video, here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7A3koc7B8_E .

The original seeds of AKLASH were sown in 2010 on the southern shores of England, and since then, they have moved through several incarnations. Comprised of Nicholas Millar (Guitar, Violin and Main Vocals), Yiannis Panou (Guitars, Bouzouki, Flute and Vocals), Chris Kendell (Bass and Vocals), and Marco Silva (Drums, Percussion, Synth and Vocals), AKLASH’s members have roots throughout the whole of Europe and this eclectic multiculturalism can be clearly heard through the band’s vastly expansive and deeply diverse sound. Their collective soundscape is comprised of varied compositions that span from the intense and furious to the sublime and atmospheric, as they craft lyrical themes that pull from philosophical, theological and anthropomorphic aspects of the natural world.

To date, AKLASH have shared the stage with a plethora of renowned counterparts such as: Abbath, Master's Hammer, 1914, Akercocke, The Infernal Sea and Taake. As well as regularly touring throughout the UK, the progressive black metallers have also successfully undertaken performances as far and wide as Portugal and Ukraine. AKLASH have despatched a steady flow of recorded work with their self-titled debut album landing in 2013, followed by 2018’s sophomore album, Where The Ocean Meets The Sky. In 2021, the diverse heavyweights revealed their third album, Horizon

The band are now primed to set loose their next full length, album, Reincarnation. This new body of work displays a myriad of fresh influences and is a true rebirth for the group. Each band member adds a unique multi-instrumental approach to writing and recording, pulling in influences from baroque/early music, NWOBM, Celtic and eastern folk, and goth and prog rock to create a structured sonic experience designed to take you on a journey from west to east. A series of live performances are the works for the remainder of the year, along with further singles and video content. Stay glued to the band’s socials for announcements and updates.
