Ahead of new album in 2025, iconic indie band Unbelievable Truth release a live recording of classic album Almost Here

With a new album completed and set for release in 2025, legendary Oxford three-piece Unbelievable Truth are releasing a live album on November 15th 2024, taken from their shows celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal 1998 album Almost Here.

Recorded in Oxford and London in September 2023, the album includes all of the tracks from 1 Almost Here plus a handful of extras from that period, including From This Height - originally only available on the Japanese release and never before available on digital platforms.

After their hometown show at the iconic Jericho Tavern in Oxford sold out within 5 minutes of tickets being available, the band, along with long time live guitarist Jim Crosskey and keyboardist Richard Payne, booked a second performance at the prestigious Bush Hall in London. This album, selected from both nights, showcases what made them such a beloved band - Andy’s gorgeously evocative voice and emotionally resonant lyrics are supported by an intricate, atmospheric and meticulously arranged musical backing that ranges from near-silent minimalism to spacious rock.

Featuring classic tracks Solved, Higher Than Reason and the epic Building (described by Oxford music magazine Nightshift as “one of the greatest songs to ever come out of Oxford”), this is a collection for fans, and an introduction to Unbelievable Truth’s music for any newcomer who needs songs of emotionally-charged beauty in their life.

A video for From This Height is available on YouTube now, featuring never before seen footage from the Almost Here tour.
