604 Records Announces the Launch of “604 Restored” and Premieres Four HD Remastered Videos by The Organ
604 RECORDS has announced a new section of its YouTube channel will be devoted to classic 604 videos which have been upscaled to HD 4K quality. The first four videos to be released are by 604 artist The Organ who recently re-released their Grab That Gun album and Thieves EP on vinyl in honour of the 20th anniversary of Grab That Gun. As part of the celebration of The Organ’s catalogue, 604 enhanced the videos for “Brother”, “Memorize The City”, “Love Love Love”, and “Fire In The Ocean”. The first three songs are from Grab That Gun and the latter from Thieves.
604 President Jonathan Simkin said: “When I was introduced to this technology which enables us to upgrade the visuals on older videos to full 4K HD quality, I was thrilled. In some cases, like “Brother” by The Organ, it almost feels like you’re seeing the video for the first time. Details that were missed in the original version are now crystal clear. For me, it is akin to when old classic paintings are restored. I’m really looking forward to giving fans a new look at some older 604 assets and I am proud that the first set of videos we’re releasing are from The Organ.”
