Cambridgeshire Alt-Rockers, Live Wire are back with their Glam-Punk laden masterpiece, ‘All In Good Time’
About The Song:
Cambridgeshire Alt-Rockers, Live Wire are back with their Glam-Punk laden masterpiece, ‘All In Good Time’.
Musically merging both the glam of the late 1960s and the post-punk revivalism of the early 2000s, the song is an absolute powerhouse that invigorates the listener throughout its three and a half minute runtime with indefinitely catchy vocal melodies across both the verses and chorus, an infectious rock n’ roll piano and of course, in true Live Wire fashion, a face melting solo.
The lyrics, ‘gonna make you mine, but all in good time’, act not only as a romantic gesture from one person to another, but as an outcry from Live Wire themselves to the nation at large.
About The Band:
Live Wire are a fierce, fast playing and fast growing alt-rock outfit from Peterborough whose founding members, Alfie Thompson (vocals) and Aslan Amjad (bass) met through a joint love of theatre, rock music and desire to break free from the clutches of England’s worst city. Louis Glasby (rhythm guitar, backing vox), upon hearing the lads’ idea of forming a band (being a fellow attendee of Kindred Drama), approached the two with a mountainous pile of original songs to rehearse. And with the eventual arrival of lead guitarist, Sammy Flowers-Nandi and drummer, Jas Moore, the band was fully formed and ready to conquer.
Live Wire were quick to make a name for themselves within Peterborough’s live music scene, gigging alongside Airways, Brave Liaison and Bilk within the first three months of the band performing live (2021). And have since gone on to play The Soundhouse (Leicester), The O2 Academy (Islington) and The Cambridge Junction a handful of times, all to great success amongst foreign audiences.
