Guerrilla Teens Unleash New 7” Single Featuring “I Cyclops” and “Pride of the Savanna”

Heavy Medication is excited to announce the latest release from Guerrilla Teens, adding another chapter to their burgeoning discography. Following last year’s explosive split 7” with Pat Todd & the Rankoutsiders, which featured a fiery cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Rip This Joint,” the band returns with a brand-new single that showcases their evolving sound.

The new 7” single features two fresh tracks: “I Cyclops” and “Pride of the Savanna.” Led by ex-Humpers and Lovesores member Scott "Deluxe" Drake, Guerrilla Teens have made a name for themselves as a force in the dirty rock & roll scene. With former Humpers/Lovesores musicians Jeff Fieldhouse and Saul Koll, alongside a dynamic rhythm section consisting of Bill Connolly on drums and Anna Anderson on bass, the band honours the gritty legacy of their predecessors while carving out their unique identity.

Musically and lyrically, Guerrilla Teens venture into darker territories, pushing the boundaries of their sound. Over the past couple of years, the band has kept busy, delivering electrifying performances and a steady stream of high-quality releases, including their impressive debut LP on Sioux Records, a split 10” on Ghost Highway Recordings, and several other 7” singles.

The limited edition 7” single is now available and features the standout tracks “I Cyclops” and “Pride of the Savanna,” both enhanced by captivating organ riffs that evoke a 60s garage rock vibe while maintaining a modern edge. Fans can listen to both tracks, now attached, and experience the next exciting phase in the Guerrilla Teens' journey. Don’t miss out on this latest offering from one of Portland's most intriguing bands!
